Dinosaur Valley State Park now selling the SP3 Kit v1 in their gift shop

From Dinosaur Valley's official website, "Long ago, dinosaurs left footprints in the mud at the edge of an ancient ocean. Today, you can walk in their tracks in the bed of the Paluxy River. This long trip to the past is just a short drive from Fort Worth."
Perhaps a different type of track, but an exciting step none the less, CRT Adventure Gear is proud to announce Dinosaur Valley SP's Gift Shop as a retail partner for our ultralight SP3 Kit v1.

CRT Adventure Gear's SP3 Kit v1 now available at Fossil Rim Nature Store

CRT Adventure Gear is proud to announce that one of Glen Rose, Texas' major attractions, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center , now sells our ultralight SP3 Kit v1 fire starter in their Nature Store Gift Shop.

"The Ice Block"... New FSTINDER Test Uploaded to YouTube

Not satisfied to let the "Wet Weather Test" stand alone, CRT Adventure Gear continues our demonstration of the Patent Pending FSTINDER's performance with "The Ice Block."

"Trust in God and keep your powder dry" is a maxim attributed to Oliver Cromwell.
At CRT Adventure Gear we believe optimal situations don't prove the character of something. So we wanted to find out exactly what happens to the patent pending FSTINDER when it gets wet. To do that we soaked a piece of FSTINDER in water for 18 hours, and then took advantage of a rainy day to try to light it on fire.
The result is our "Wet Weather Test" video which is now available on YouTube.

ThanksGIVING Event is now finished, and we want to thank everyone who helped make it a success! Whether you purchased one of our SP3 KITv1 fire starters, helped let others know about the
ThanksGIVING Event, or did both, THANK YOU!
Over the past week CRT Adventure Gear offered a 20% discount and pledged to donate 20% of our net proceeds for the period to Mercy Ships. During that time we shipped high quality fire starting kits across the United States, and even internationally, filling our first military personnel order that went to Europe.
As a result, we are pleased to note that today CRT Adventure Gear made good on its pledge with a donation to Mercy Ships!

Instead of Black Friday or Cyber Monday promotions, the ThanksGIVING Event will last through Cyber Monday and include two components. First, “Thanks” to our customers who will receive 20% off their order with the discount code THANKS2020. Second, “GIVING” whereby CRT Adventure Gear will donate 20% of our net proceeds for the period to charity.

New Fire Starting Kit from CRT Adventure Gear

CRT Adventure Gear is proud to introduce the Patent Pending SP3KITv1, a self-contained, discreet, lightweight fire starting kit that’s ready for your next adventure.
Named for the third “survival priority”, fire, the SP3KITv1 was initially developed as a low profile emergency fire starting kit for everyday carry (EDC) in urban environments. As such, it uses the inconspicuous form factor of a ballpoint pen to help it fly under the radar.
However, hunters, campers, backpackers, wilderness Search and Rescue, and other adventurers who need fire starting provisions also appreciate its adaptability, form and function. The SP3KITv1 not only fits anywhere you would normally find a ballpoint pen, it is easily broken down or modified to meet a wide range of specific kitting needs.
Key Features/Contents:
- Complete kit weighs less than a disposable lighter
- Micro ballpoint pen for filling out game tags, taking notes, or other writing needs
- The heat treated, tool steel striker is designed for compact effectiveness
- The Patent Pending three part tinder is self-contained, can burn for over four minutes or be pulled apart and used to light multiple fires
- The Patent Pending ferro rod is one of, if not the, lightest weight handled ferro rods on the market and permanently holds a high quality pyrophoric rod for maximum sparking performance
